Description

Hi everybody, this is one of my favorite pictures from :iconcorlath-vandraco:'s and my hike!! I'm wearing my mask, and you can see my handmade wings perfectly :meow: I'm playing in some XD

I had been switching all day between a pair that I bought, and this one, which I made. The top two branches are manzanetta branches. But the bottom two are actually cut off from a gold christmas wreath my mom bought XD. They're rubber, so the wings are not uncomfortable on my back. I painted them the same color as the top, only in come places its coming off a bit, so the gold shows through kinda, and it looks cool. I think. I hot glued em together, and covered the middle with some leather. and voila! Wood Fairy wings  I plan to wear them for my christmas fairy costume I put together for a christmas parade, I have lights that I drape all over them. I love them! they hang on my wall when not in use XD

anyway, cor and I hiked up to this castle last weekend to take these pictures. It was very fun, we had a picnic, and well it was a fun time. I carried my purse (for only a short while), a bag full of makeup, 3 necklaces, my mask, and my headpiece, and the two wings. he carried the lunch, and the mushroom, with a change of clothes, shoes, and a costume that I was planning on taking here too, but we didn't. yeah, up a mountain, whoo

I modified the skirt (a bday present) to look fairy-y and I made the headpiece omg I wuv it :D and the corset I bought from...shoot...I cant remember... hmm. and my jewelry is random, I wear it all the time XD. The stockings are from Koroneberg and the shoes are from Pyramid Collection Magazine. I dont remember where I got the wings from either. I did the makeup here, haha. you guys will see a BUNCH of other pictures, and versions of this outfit. different head pieces, masks, wings, hair...well its the same hair but I braid it and it looks all adorable ;)

thanks for loooooooking!!

I am in love with those wings. I think that's such a great idea.
